Shipping policy

Last updated: October 24, 2026

This policy applies to Hardwick Supply orders placed at hardwicksupply.com. Orders are primarily dispatched from China to customers in the United States. We do not describe these orders as shipping from a U.S. warehouse.

1. Destinations and available services

Available shipping services depend on the selected items and delivery address. Use the options offered for your address at checkout. If no service is available, or if you need delivery to an island, territory, remote address, P.O. box or military address, contact info@hardwicksupply.com before ordering. A shipping option for one address does not establish service to every U.S. address.

2. Shipping charges

The shipping charge for your order is shown at checkout before payment, or in a written quotation accepted before the order is paid. It may depend on the items, packed weight and dimensions, destination and service. Free shipping applies only when expressly shown for that order at checkout or in the accepted quotation; it is not a storewide promise. Heavy, oversized, long or multi-parcel orders can require a separate quotation before purchase.

We will not add an undisclosed shipping surcharge to an already paid order. If we cannot supply an agreed delivery arrangement at the accepted total, we will explain the options and offer cancellation and a refund rather than require an additional payment without your agreement.

3. Processing, dispatch and delivery estimates

Processing is the period for checking availability, preparing and packing the order. Transit begins after the parcel is handed to the carrier. These are separate periods. Any item-specific dispatch or delivery estimate shown before purchase, or confirmed in an accepted written quotation, applies to that order. We do not promise one universal delivery time for every tool or component.

If no estimate is displayed, ask us for the selected item, quantity and destination before ordering, especially if your project has a deadline. “Available to order” does not mean immediate dispatch.

For U.S. orders without another shipment period disclosed before purchase, the applicable default shipment deadline is 30 days after the order. This is a shipment deadline, not a promise of delivery within 30 days. If we cannot ship by the applicable deadline, we will notify you, provide a revised estimate and offer the choice to agree to the delay or cancel for a prompt refund. We do not treat silence as consent to an indefinite or repeated delay.

4. Taxes, customs and import charges

Applicable checkout taxes are shown before payment. Unless an order or accepted quotation expressly states that import duties and carrier clearance charges are prepaid or included, the recipient is responsible for charges lawfully assessed on import. These charges are different from the shipping fee and may be collected by the carrier or customs authority. Ask us before purchase if the duty arrangement is unclear. We do not promise that every shipment is duty-free.

5. Tracking and split shipments

When a tracking number is available, we provide it through a shipping update or the order status information. A label can be created before the carrier records its first scan. Orders may arrive in more than one parcel; we will identify separate tracking information when available. See Order Information.

6. Address changes and delivery problems

Check your delivery address before payment. Contact us promptly about corrections; changes cannot be guaranteed after processing or dispatch. If an incorrect customer-supplied address results in a return, any proposed reshipping charge must be explained and accepted before reshipping.

For a delayed, lost, damaged or incorrectly delivered parcel, contact us with the order number and relevant tracking information. Keep packaging and photographs where available. We will investigate and arrange an appropriate replacement, refund or other remedy under the Return and Refund Policy and applicable rights. A carrier's scan does not automatically remove our responsibility to address a delivery dispute.
